01 | The problem

Generic prompts give you generic output. Your clients pay for structure.

Everyone on the team uses AI now. Most of what comes back is long, vague and impossible to put in front of a partner, let alone a CFO.

01

Not MECE

Lists that overlap, miss half the drivers, and fall apart the moment someone asks "what about…?"

02

No so-what

Descriptions instead of insights. Topic titles instead of action titles. Summaries instead of answers.

03

Time lost re-prompting

Late nights spent rewriting the same prompt from scratch, case after case, instead of thinking.

PromptPacks encodes how top-tier consultants work: role, context, task, constraints and format, built around the actual stages of a case.

02 | What's inside

50 prompts. 11 case stages. One standard.

Every prompt comes with a title, when to use it, the prompt itself with clear [placeholders], and a worked example or pro tip.

Stage 01 · Problem definition

SMART Problem Statement

At kick-off, when the client's ask is broad ("fix profitability").

Act as a senior engagement manager at a top-tier strategy consultancy. Turn the client situation below into a single, precise key question.

Context: [client / industry], [situation in 2-3 sentences], [decision-maker].

1. Write the key question so it is Specific, Measurable, Action-oriented, Relevant and Time-bound.
2. List scope boundaries: in / out.
3. Name the success criteria.
4. Flag 3 ambiguities to clarify in week one.

Tip: Ask for two alternative framings and pick the one your client sponsor would sign off on.

Stage 08 · Action titles

Topic Title → Action Title

When slides say "Market overview" instead of a message.

Rewrite these slide titles as action titles: [titles + one-line summary of each slide].

Rules: full sentence; states the insight, not the topic; quantified where possible; max ~15-20 words; active voice; no jargon.

Give 2 options per slide: one bold, one conservative.

Example: "Market overview" → "The DACH market will grow 6% p.a. to 2030, but only the premium segment is profitable."

Stage 10 · Steerco prep

Executive Summary Page

When a deck needs a page a CEO can read in 60 seconds.

Write an executive summary page for this deck: [storyline or slide titles with key data].
Audience: [audience]. Decision requested: [decision].

Format: bold governing thought; 3-5 key points, each a full sentence with a number; "Next steps / decisions required". Max 200 words. Answer first. No hedging, no passive voice.

Tip: Write it before you finish the deck, then make every slide support it.

06 | FAQ

Questions, answered.

01Who is this for?

Management and strategy consultants at every level, from analysts to partners, plus in-house strategy teams, corporate development and MBA students preparing for consulting.

02Which AI tools does it work with?

Any capable chat assistant: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot and similar. The prompts are plain text, with no plugins or special setup required.

03What format do I get?

A designed PDF for reading and a Markdown file for copying prompts into your tools, prompt libraries, custom GPTs or Claude Projects.

04Is it safe to use with client data?

The prompts never require confidential data. Always follow your firm's AI policy: anonymise client information and use only approved tools. The usage guide covers this in detail.

05Will the AI get facts and numbers right?

Not always. The prompts are designed to give you structure and first drafts and explicitly tell the model to label estimates and not invent data. You should always verify facts against primary sources.

06Can I share it with my team?

One purchase covers one person. For team or firm-wide licences, email [email protected]. We're happy to offer volume pricing.

07Can I get a refund?

Because the pack is digital content delivered immediately, the statutory right of withdrawal expires once the download starts, provided you have expressly agreed to this at checkout. If something is wrong with your file, just email [email protected] and we'll sort it out.

08Is the newsletter really free?

Yes. One prompt every weekday, no spam, unsubscribe with one click.
